Four years late, but I have (finally) started my blog.

Hello & welcome to my blog! 🙏

I've started my blog (finally) today! I'll talk about JavaScript, open-source and everything in between.

After several delays and a variety of reasons, I can finally start writing blogs on my personal domain. I previously published on Dev.to, Medium and Quora. I joined Hashnode a couple of weeks ago and was completely blown away by the customizations and SEO features, prompting me to turn my Hashnode blog into my own homepage on the internet. Kudos to Sandeep, Shad, Catalin Pit, Syed, Edidiong Asikpo, Megha Pathak and the team for building the best dev-blogging platform out there! 🎉 🔥

Why >_ git [w]init ? 🤭

My friends nickname me Winit, and that's where this concept originated from.

git [w]init = GitHub with Vinit Shahdeo aka Winit.

Motivation ✨

After my family went through a difficult COVID chapter, it made me realize that life is so unpredictable, therefore do the things that have been on your bucket list since long, whether that is trying a new hobby, working on a side project, or starting a blog! Having a personal blog where I share my experiences has been a long-held ambition of mine.

Lastly, I'm so excited to share my open-source journey and everything in between (even more excited to see you here!). I'd love to know what you're looking forward to reading. I'm keeping an eye on the comments below!
